CoWIN open for all countries: Nirmala Sitharaman, Finance Minister of India stated her experience that how the CoWIN application has enormously supported the scale and scope of India’s vaccination procedure during the 2nd wave of the Covid-19.

Now she offered to share “The CoWIN platform with all the other nations for no cost stating that humanitarian needs outweigh commercial benefits during the time of the pandemic.”

She shared India’s successful experience in terms of technology advancement with inclusive services which are delivered during the hard times of pandemic, the message was shared on the Twitter handle by the Finance Ministry.

Sitharaman shared all her experience while participating in the ongoing G20 Finance Minister and Central Bank Governors Meeting which was conducted virtually and on the 2nd day to showcase the development of India in the field of AI and Information Technology.

CoWIN open for all countries, During the event, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman shared how the CoWIN application has worked so efficiently and supported the scale and scope during the times of the vaccination in our country.

Now India has made this platform free for all countries and gave them a firm belief that there is a need for humanity during the time of this pandemic rather than looking towards commercial benefits.

During the meeting, there are so many points that were discussed by finance ministers and they focused on policies for economic recovery, international Taxation, and sustainable finance. Finance Ministries discussed policies for the recovery of the session.

It consists of 3 catalysts of economic recovery. They are as follows “Digitalization, Climate Action, and Sustainable infrastructure and shared India’s experience in integrating successful experience in terms of technology with inclusive service delivery during the pandemic” in another tweet.

CoWIN application has played a very big and important role during the 2nd wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in India.

As at that time the country was in a need of stabilized systematic way of making people vaccinated during the lockdown and the system helped in this very easily the government has listed all the hospitals and vaccine centers registered and divided them into different age groups and locality so it would be easy for an individual to get vaccinated.

CoWIN open for all countries, The platform shows the limited number of slots available in a day to avoid the rush. This platform also helps record people who get vaccinated and the doses provided to them.
