Instagram adds 'Recently Deleted' feature to restore deleted posts

Instagram New Features 2021: The recent update of Instagram came up with the much-awaited feature that has been wanted by the general public for a long time. You can now retrieve your deleted posts including images, IGTV, reels, and even the deleted stories. 

The recent update has been shared by the instagram itself through a blogpost. We also added protections to help prevent hackers from compromising your account and deleting posts you’ve shared.

The Update has been applauded a lot by the users as there have been many instances where a user-by-mistake deletes his/her posts and there is no way of retrieving it. 

Sometimes the account gets hacked and the person deletes the user's posts, in that case, the user can retrieve his/her posts again through this new Feature

About the Feature - Instagram new features 2021

Photos, videos, reels, IGTV videos, and stories you chose to delete will move to the recently deleted fold and will stay there for 30 days. After the period of 30 days, the content will automatically be deleted and cannot be retrieved afterward.

Deleted stories that are not in your archive will move to the recently deleted folder and will then be deleted in 24 hours. Everything else will be automatically deleted 30 days later.

During those 30 days, you can access your deleted content by going to Settings > Account > The feature is available in the latest update of the Instagram app. You can however either delete the content moved it to a recently deleted folder also.

The last big update in the Instagram app was the integration of reels in the app. The Feature came as the alternative to the Tiktok,
